Simon Houle has 17 years of experience in financial services, including 12 as a financial planner for major Canadian banks. Over the years, he has advised a diverse clientele of professionals, business people and entrepreneurs. Simon is a member of the Executive Committee of Question-Retraite and a past member of the board of the Regroupement des jeunes gens d’affaires de Laval and of the Regroupement des jeunes chambres de commerce du Québec. He is also a past president of the Jeune chambre de Rimouski. Simon has a B.A. in law and business administration from Université Laval, is certified as a Financial Planner by the Institut québécois de planification financière (IQPF), and has the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation. In his spare time, Simon plays hockey, skis and travels.
Lynn Bennett has more than 20 years of multidisciplinary experience in the financial sector, from the stock exchange trading floor to software development for exchanges and brokers, in Canada and overseas. Lynn holds the Financial Planner certification from the Quebec Institute of Financial Planning (IQPF), the Quebec equivalent of the CFP (Certified Financial Planner). She is also a graduate of Laval University in Business Administration. From McGill University, she earned a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and a Graduate Certificate in Financial Planning. Lynn has a keen interest in youth financial education, and enjoys presenting personal finance workshops to university students on topics such as taxes, debt and investment. Free time is spent cycling, travelling to see great architecture, history and gardens, and taking a variety of courses, from Italian to taxes!
